I did this painting a couple of years ago for a picture book that I wrote. The painting is done in oils on board. I thought it fit the topic carry nicely.
Elizabeth, There is nothing like Christmas in July! I am really used to doing Christmas images in the summer time for licensing. We are fortunate not to have had the sweltering heat that most of the country had. We actually had marine layer over us a couple days last week and were in the 60's. It is warm today though.
It's hot in Ohio today, so I'll agree with Elizabeth about enjoying the sight of snow in July. (Of course I'll completely reverse myself in December) Beautiful painting!
Given how hot it's been for most of the country, I'll bet a lot of people will feel a little relief at the sight of this :) The bunny is adorable!
